Holly graduated from the University of Arizona with a degree in biology. She continued her education in the University’s Department of Genetics where she completed her Master’s degree. Holly worked as a clinical cytogeneticist at University Medical Center (UMC) and was involved in genetic research until she saw her first human egg. From that point on, she knew she had to work in the reproductive endocrinology and infertility field. She spent the next few years as a research specialist assisting the chief embryologist at UMC and ultimately persuaded her brother, Dr. Hutchinson, to form Reproductive Health Center.

Dr. Jose Hernandez, PhD, affectionately known as Dr. H, is a pioneer of in vitro fertilization. He began his career as a doctor of veterinary medicine and earned his degree from the Universidad Veracruzana in Vera Cruz, Mexico, while specializing in bovine reproductive physiology.
Dr. H’s storied career is vast. Upon his move to the United States, he received his Master of Science degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia in reproductive endocrinology. He then received his PhD from Washington State University, training in in vitro fertilization, embryo and gamete micromanipulation, and cryopreservation of eggs and embryos. Following that, he earned a post-doctoral position at University of Missouri-Columbia focusing on producing massive quantities of bovine embryos in vitro for research and commercial applications.
Like Dr. Hutchison, Dr. Hernandez has a scientific résumé that rivals many. He’s double-board certified as a High Complexity Laboratory Director in Embryology and Andrology and a member of several scientific and professional associations.
