Does insurance pay the cost of infertility treatment? – Infertility Treatment Scottsdale

At the Reproductive Health Center, we realize that infertility care can be expensive. We make every effort to contain the cost of infertility treatment. Before initiating any treatment, we recommend that patients contact their insurance company to determine coverage. Insurance policies vary and, in many cases, treatment and prescriptions are not covered. Some policies don’t cover the cost of infertility treatment at all, while others will only cover certain types of treatment or only up to a certain amount.

We are providers for the following major insurance companies:

  • Blue Cross/Blue Shield.
  • Cigna PPO and HMO plans.
  • Health Management Network (some plans).
  • Definity Health Plan.
  • Health Net.
  • Pacificare.
  • United Health Care.
  • Tricare.
  • Banner Health Network.
  • Aetna.

Payment options for what insurance doesn’t cover

For your convenience, we currently accept cash, check, Visa, and MasterCard as methods of payment. For those of you with good credit, using a credit card to pay for your treatment could be an affordable way to spread out the cost over many months or years.

Additionally, we provide our patients with the option of financing. We are members of Advanced Reproductive Care, Inc., a resource for patient financing and more. For more information, refer to

We care about the cost of infertility treatment

While cost is always a factor in any major life decision you make, we also know how strong the longing can be to start a family. We can sympathize with your case, and will do everything we can to make your experience with us a pleasant one. It is our goal that everyone who would benefit from infertility treatment and wants to proceed with it will be able to find a way to make the finances work.

Making money is definitely not our focus; our focus is the families we help create. Fortunately, many of our most effective treatments (such as nutrition counseling and stress reduction coaching) are inexpensive. Even though these treatments don’t make us much money, we include them in your treatment because we know that they’ll help you to reach your goal of starting a family. We will do our best to keep your costs reasonable, while still providing you with the treatments that have the best chance to help you have a baby!
